Why I wrote the book
I decided to write this book to share my experience and knowledge with anyone interested in pursuing a business. When I began to pursue my first business venture, I was unable to find a resource that provided detailed information about the process of starting a business, pitfalls to avoid, pros and cons, dos and don’ts and a real world perspective. I spent numerous hours reading articles and books to piece together a plan and develop a solid strategy to start my business. Today, when I look back at the challenges I faced in the process of starting my first business, I realized how unpreparedness impacted my journey. As a result, I now appreciate the process of the journey because I learned many valuable lessons and I uncovered a specific skill set that I will share with you in this book.
